Kendin is a visual synthesis of the artist’s heritage and present environment, merging tradition with contemporary expression. Drawing from the intricate patterns of Turkish çini and the delicate techniques of Chinese jiǎnzhǐ, the work reimagines these forms through a digital lens, enhanced with subtle light effects.
This fusion of cultural motifs and modern tools reflects a personal journey of growth and adaptation. Kendin was created using a combination of hand-cut paper, collage, digital animation, and layered lighting—bridging physical craftsmanship with digital production to explore identity within the Cultural Heritage theme.
