The HKUST Student Center (powered by PeopleSoft SIS) is the primary portal through which every student manages enrolment, finances, grades, and personal information. Despite its critical role, the current interface suffers from outdated visual design, deeply nested navigation, and a lack of contextual information hierarchy — problems common to legacy enterprise systems in higher education.

This project redesigns the Student Center dashboard through an iterative UX process. I want the audience to see and feel the difference that intentional design choices — restructured information architecture, modernized visuals, and meaningful interaction affordances — can make to an interface that thousands of students use daily, even when the underlying data and functionality remain identical.
